Well this weekend I went with my Zoology class to Boyd Deep Canyon to go small mammal trapping, and it was pretty fun. First though we stopped in Palm Desert to see the Living Desert Wildlife Park that featured native Californian desert animals as well as some African Desert Animals. Then we finally made our way to the camp site.

In the evening we set up the traps, went to dinner then came back and checked them at night. We got around 2 kangaroo rats and some other various pocket mice, kept each species in a different hampster type cage, then re-set the traps for the night. We checked them again in the morning and got a few more.

I had a really great time and got closer to people in my class, the crazy bunch.

So after months of searching, I finally have a job. I started working at Sunny Dog Place (a doggy daycare/boarding/training place) on Friday, and I'll admit I feel pretty stupid since I don't know where everything is/their exact policies yet. I love being around the dogs though, even though they do tend to be a bit naughty sometimes. All this thanks to Animals Rule and Shannon for emailing a letter of recommendation.

I'm not sure if I'll have much photos up lately, I'll be unable to make most adoption events now that I'm working on Saturdays. I would take pictures at work but I'd be doing exactly that, working. Plus I don't think they would be too happy that I'm not keeping an eye on all the dogs.

So I went to the LA Zoo on Saturday, its no San Diego but its still good practice. I'll have the pics up sometime this week!

Other then that I've been pretty much playing Fallout 3 and trying to keep up with the Animals Rule Facebook, its gotten pretty popular . I have a Flickr and RedBubble account, but its hard to juggle so many. Plus I get lazy and distracted.

I REALLY need to play Guild Wars more often and work on my titles, GW2 OMG!
